thechrisfaceproject asked: I too am taking the NYIP distance learning course, and all though the information in it is very good, and thorough it is presented in a way that is very outdated and as a visual creative it can be a huge distraction. Also depending on the type of student you are, you may or may not do well with the "at your own pace" style of learning. I am not a fan of traditional education but there is something to be said for a set schedule and class room environment surrounded by other creatives.

Thanks for this..I decided to not take it..I talked with many people about it, and I figured it just wasn’t for me..plus there are so many free resources to learn photography.
